As the Eagle Soars is Lao's first solo record. Lao released this album when he was just 14 years old. It is the most understated of all of his albums.  Based in a New Age/Classical style, As the Eagle Soars explores Lao's roots in Classical music and illustrates his curiosity for contemporary production.  It is the most meditative and mellow of all Lao's albums. Beautiful, simple melodies make this album a relaxing listening experience that can be enjoyed again and again.
